About the Library this summer

Rossford Public Library is gearing up for an exciting and adventurous summer. The Summer Reading Club kicked off June 3 and will run through July 26.Children can stop into the library to register. Participants are encouraged to stop each week to report their reading to receive a prize.

Memorial Day parade, ceremony inspire families to remember fallen servicemembers

The Rossford Memorial Day parade rolled through downtown Rossford in the afternoon of Sunday, May 26, with a procession that included the Rossford High School band, fire trucks and numerous American Legion members.

Applications are open for Habitat for Humanity homes

Habitat for Humanity of Wood County, Inc. plans to build homes in Bradner, Rossford, Walbridge and Wayne. Persons interested in applying for Habitat’s Homeownership Program are encouraged to apply at its website, wchabitat.org.

In a survey conducted by pest control networking service Pest Gnome, Ohio ranked fifteenth out of 50 states for the worst risk of tick-borne diseases.
