Nature’s Nursery celebrates 35 years

June of 1989 was the first full month of operation for Nature’s Nursery Wildlife Rescue. What started as a small hobby-operation 35 years ago on a residential property, has grown into a multifaceted organization that now serves more than 18 counties and cares for 3,500 animals or more every year.

Rossford teacher arrested for OVI, marked lane violation

A Rossford High School teacher will come before Perrysburg Municipal Judge Aram Ohanian on June 24 following his arrest for OVI and a traffic violation.Tim Edmond, 61, an RHS English teacher, was stopped by a Rossford police officer on April 27, for a marked lanes violation.

St. Joseph’s to hold summer rummage sale, June 19-22

Maumee St. Joseph’s Catholic Church is having its annual summer rummage sale. The dates are Wednesday, June 19, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 10 percent markup; Thursday and Friday, June 20 and 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, June 22, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Antique tractor showcase returns to Sauder Village

Sauder Village’s “tractors, tractors, tractors” event will be held on Saturday, June 22.The event will showcase over 20 antique tractors, many of which predate 1950.Residents will have the opportunity to see how farm equipment has evolved over the course of the past century.

Perrysburg Twp. food distribution

The Perrysburg Township food distribution will be held Thursday, June 13, from 8 to 10 a.m.The township fire department will sponsor the food give-away at the township building, 26609 Lime City Road, the second Thursday of each month.

The Wolcott House is now open for the 2024 season. Tours are provided Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Adult tours cost $6, seniors $5 and students $2—fourth grade students get in free with the passport pass.History day camp will run June 24 through 27, for ages 8 to 11, and costs $165.
