Eagle Scout completes bat box project for Wood County Park District

In spring, an area resident attended a Wood County park district meeting to ask that the bat boxes at W.W. Knight Nature Preserve be replaced, noting they had deteriorated over the years.

Stroll the Street wraps up 2024 season

Guests made their way downtown to enjoy an evening with neighbors and friends as the last batch of food trucks and art vendors set up along Dixie Highway on August 13, for the final Stroll the Street of the 2024 season.

Rossford School District recognizes outstanding educators

Rossford School District recently presented the Patricia Gladieux Employee-of-the-Year Award, which is given to employees who demonstrate outstanding character in working with children. It was awarded this year to Eileen Christoffers, Ron Demko and Lisa Kohl.

Ability Center hosts family fun day Aug. 24
