The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission continues to remind mobile device owners everywhere to be aware of a resurgence in fraudulent texts from scammers requesting payment for unpaid tolls through fake websites.The Ohio Turnpike does not request its customers to make payments by text.

Rossford Police make arrest in car theft outbreak

From August 28 to September 10, the Rossford Police Department took reports from 19 residents who had property stolen from their vehicles during the early morning hours. The thefts occurred on Windsor, Vineyard, Maybar, Colony Road, Indian Ridge Trail, Hillview and Santus.
