Mosquito pool tests positive for West Nile virus in Wood County

A mosquito pool collected in Wood County has tested positive for West Nile virus. The sample of mosquitoes was collected on July 12 and sent for testing to the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).

Perrysburg Twp. food distribution

The Perrysburg Township food distribution will be held Thursday, August 8, from 8 to 10 a.m.The township fire department will sponsor the food give-away at the township building, 26609 Lime City Road, the second Thursday of each month.

The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission is reminding toll customers, and all mobile device owners, to be aware of a resurgence in fraudulent texts from scammers requesting payment for unpaid tolls through fake websites.
