‘Let the Hounds Out’ fund-raiser is March 23

Libbey House will host a mystery event fund-raiser, “Who Let the Hounds Out,” on Saturday, March 23, from 6 to 10 p.m., at Libbey House, 2008 Scottwood Avenue, Old West End. A mystery surrounds the disappearance of local pups and the mansion’s staff needs all hands on deck to fetch the clues and solve the mystery.

Rossford PD to provide Safety Town program

The Rossford Police Department will present the 2024 Safety Town Program from June 10 to June 14, with classes running from 9 a.m. to noon at Rossford Elementary School, 28500 Lime City Road.

The 2024 tree seedling sale offers conifers: American Arborvitae, Norway Spruce, Bald Cypress and White Pine; deciduous: Pin Oak, Black Maple and River Birch; wildlife shrubs: Arrowwood, Ninebark and Common Lilac. Packets are $15 for ten seedlings.

Multi-state enforcement yields 504 citations in Ohio

The Ohio Highway Patrol joined forces with other members of the six-State Trooper Project to focus on speed, safety belt and OVI enforcement on I-75. During the project, 504 people in Ohio were issued citations including 454 for speed and 44 for safety belt violations.
