Rossford Bulldogs fall late to Genoa Comets, 49-44

The rebuild that has been the Rossford Bulldog basketball season is gaining experience and chemistry. The Bulldogs continued their quest for improvement last Friday night when they visited the Genoa Comets. This time, they made strides as a team and did everything they needed to do except win, falling late to the Comets, 49-44.

Community quilt-a-thon to benefit Project Linus

National Project Linus blanket day will be held on Saturday, February 17, at Living Faith United Methodist Church, 1240 Columbus Avenue, Holland. The mission of Project Linus is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gift of new, handmade, washable blankets and afghans, crafted by volunteer blanketeers. Anyone who can learn to tie a square knot is invited to join anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Rossford varsity girls basketball team has been on a roll. They won two games in a row for the first time this season, and according to Head Coach Toby Ledesma, the Bulldogs are improving with every contest.
