Lions Club announces upcoming events, meetings

The Perrysburg Lions Club is a service-based organization within the community, district, state, national, and international levels.With the motto, “We Serve,” projects reside under eight main pillars: vision, hunger, diabetes, environment, disaster relief, childhood cancer, youth and humanitarian.

All veterans will have free entry with their military IDs during Rossford’s at-home varsity basketball game against Lake on Friday, January 17, at 7 p.m. They will also be acknowledged and thanked during the game.

Mercy Health to launch urgent care network

Mercy Health is acquiring 10 facilities from Greater Midwest Urgent Cares to launch a network of urgent care centers in Toledo and the surrounding area. The new ownership of the facilities will take effect on April 1.

Rossford Junior/High School Hosts Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival

Rossford Junior/High School will host the fourth annual Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival on March 15, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.The event will include writing and reading workshops with participating authors, a Mad Hatter’s tea party escape room, a community book club and more.
