NWSD project update

The Northwestern Water and Sewer District (The District) delivers water and sewer services to more than 20,000 customers in Wood, Henry, Sandusky and Hancock counties. Although many of the projects are underground, the utility work can impact water and sewer service and roads throughout the area.

Menards holding holiday toy collection event

All local Menards home improvement stores are holding a toy collection drive for the holidays.Drop boxes are located near the exit door at each store to collect new and unwrapped presents for less fortunate children in the community. The drive will continue through the end of November.

Pupcycling event set for Nov. 15

Metroparks Toledo is hosting an upcycling event, Pupcycling, on Friday, November 15, from 3 to 6 p.m., in the Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Preserve Metro-park.Staff, their families and other volunteers are invited to help repurpose old Metroparks camp shirts to create dog toys for local shelters.
