Dessert for Dinner event planned for February 14

The Wood County Committee on Aging will host Dessert for Dinner with dancing and DJ T-Town on Friday, February 14, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Wood County Senior Center.Celebrate Valentine’s Day with an array of desserts at various stations, from cakes to pastries, sponsored by various businesses.

Scholarship offers $100,000 to local high school seniors

The Ray Kest Scholarship Corp. will award 20 $5,000 scholarships, totaling $100,000 in value, to local high school seniors. The scholarships may be used toward a two- or four-year college or university.

Family literacy night is Feb. 24

Rossford Schools will kick off right to read week with their fourth annual family literacy night on Monday, February 24, 5:30 to 7:15 p.m., at Rossford Elementary School, 28500 Lime City Road.

Rossford inducts new members to Athletic Hall of Fame

Rossford Schools inducted Margo Jackson Schaffer and Jessica (Pietrasz) Bush, both class of 2014, to the Athletic Hall of Fame during the basketball game on January 31.
