Experience Fort Meigs Historic Site in action on Memorial Day weekend as reenactors from across the United States and Canada commemorate the 212th anniversary of the First Siege of Fort Meigs.The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25.

Rossford Schools hosted their Fine Arts Night on April 30, at both the elementary school and the junior- senior high school.Art teachers displayed art throughout the buildings for families to walk through and see. Students showed off their pieces to families.

Rossford’s annual Memorial Day event will be Sunday, May 25. The parade will commence at 1:30 p.m., starting at the corner of Dixie Highway and Bergin Street. A presentation will immediately follow at Veterans Memorial Park, near the marina, on Hannum Avenue.

William (Bill) Michael Heban, age 70, of Rossford, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born on February 13, 1955, to Robert and Lucille (Proch) Heban in Oregon, Ohio. Bill was a 1973 graduate of Rossford High School and was a talented basketball player and golfer.
