Annual Riverfest to return August 16

Rossford’s Annual Riverfest will be held Saturday, August 16.All Saints Catholic Church will be serving up hot and ready pierogi, kielbasa and stuffed cabbage. There will also be a variety of food trucks and a selection of beers starting at 6 p.m.

June of 1989 was the first full month of operations for Nature’s Nursery Wildlife Rescue. What started as a small-hobby operation 36 years ago on a residential property, has grown into a multifaceted organization that now serves more than 18 counties and cares for 3,500 animals or more every year.
