Salutatorian addresses classmates

Body
I want to express how thankful I am to be put in a position to speak at an occasion so important to fellow students and family alike. It is truly an honor to stand here and talk about the new steps we are taking in our lives and all the hard work we have put in to get there. I feel it’s important to reflect on what we have done and realize how every action we’ve taken, and will take, has helped shape us into the people we are right now. I think that today should be one of the happiest as we are surrounded by love and support with the steps we are taking as we leave those times behind us.
