Through June 28, TOPICS Camera Club is sharing a photo exhibit featuring over 50 prints from local photographers on the walls of the lower level of Way Public Library in Perrysburg. Featured are a wide range of topics including landscapes, portraits, flowers, animals and more.

The cities of Perrysburg and Maumee will host the traditional Independence Day fireworks on Thursday, July 3. The show will begin at 10 p.m. and will last approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Rain date is July 5.The fireworks will be set off in a new location this year.

Rossford Public Library has released their musical line-up for their free summer concert series, Libraries Rock.The event takes place Wednesdays through August 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., at 720 Dixie Highway. Attendees are asked to bring a chair or blanket for sitting on the library lawn.

Decommissioned fire gear saving lives again

The Perrysburg Township Fire Department has donated more than 10 full sets of decommissioned firefighter turnout gear to Toledo Helps Ukraine (THU), a local nonprofit organization that has collected and shipped humanitarian, medical and firefighting equipment to war-torn Ukraine.
