Gathering Volumes will host an in-store book alk and signing for Dr. Greta Lynn Uehling (“Decolonizing Ukraine,”) on Sunday, June 22, at 2:30 p.m.Uehling is a teaching professor of international and comparative studies at the University of Michigan.

Maumee, Perrysburg to host fireworks July 3

The cities of Perrysburg and Maumee will host the traditional Independence Day fireworks on Thursday, July 3. The show will begin at 10 p.m. and will last approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Rain date is July 5.The fireworks will be set off in a new location this year.

Rossford Public Library free concert series continues

Rossford Public Library has released their musical line-up for their free summer concert series, Libraries Rock.The event takes place Wednesdays through August 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., at 720 Dixie Highway. Attendees are asked to bring a chair or blanket for sitting on the library lawn.
