Rossford rips Eastwood Eagles, 58-30

The Rossford Bulldogs used aggressive defense to prevail over the Eastwood Eagles, 58-30, in another lopsided league victory. The Bulldogs grabbed 44 rebounds and made 31 defensive stops as they held the Eagles to just 26 percent shooting from the field.

American Red Cross seeks volunteers

The American Red Cross Northern Ohio Region has an urgent need for volunteers in several critical roles. They will host an information session on Thursday, February 9, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at 501 West Market Street, Akron.

Rossford High School’s Lola Luderman signed to play softball at Ohio Northern University. She would like to pitch and be an utility player. The daughter of Melissa and Brad Luderman, she is going to major in sports management.

Rossford Upends Royals, 50-32

The Rossford Bulldogs upended the Elmwood Royals 50-32 in a Northern Buckeye Conference contest on January 24 at the George G. Wolf Field House. Rossford ran its league record to a perfect 9-0 as they remain alone atop the league standings.

Bulldogs streak past Lake Flyers, 71-31

The Rossford Bulldogs put together their most dominant performance of the year as they downed the Lake Flyers, 71-31 in a Northern Buckeye Conference contest on January 27. The route started with the opening tip when Derek Vorst made a strong inside move and scored on the Bulldogs’ first possession.
