State Representative Haraz Ghanbari of Perrysburg was administered the oath of office by Ohio Supreme Court Justice Patrick Fischer during a January 3 ceremony at the Statehouse.

Rep. Ghanbari, serving his second elected term in the Ohio House of Representatives, was initially appointed in March 2019 during the 133rd General Assembly.

“It’s an honor and privilege to serve the folks of House District 75 which encompasses nearly all of Wood County,” he said. “With the official start of the 135th General Assembly, I remain committed to ensuring the interests of those back home are well represented in the committee process and on the House floor.”

Mr. Ghanbari, who was joined by his wife, Kim, and their two children on the House floor, notes he intends to focus legislative priorities on “investing in our children’s future, growing our economy and making our communities safer.”
