Did you know that there are river otters in our area? These river otters were seen at Crane Creek at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. These three- to four-foot long semi-aquatic mammals live in marshes, rivers and lakes, and eat a diet of fish, crayfish, snakes and frogs. They are most often viewed at dawn or dusk.
