The Northwestern Water and Sewer District has provided the following updates on projects. All work is weather permitting.
Rossford: Sewer Maintenance
Sewer maintenance on northbound Crossroads Boulevard between Deimling Road and State Route 795 and on Lime City Road between Buck and Schreier roads is complete.
Perrysburg Township: Ford Road pump station replacement
Ford Road, between White Road and Lindsay Drive, is open with additional closures to be announced.
Through April, expect additional construction traffic on Ford Road between White and Lindsey roads for pump station replacement and relocation. The $7.7 million project is expected to be complete in April 2023.
Perrysburg: Willowbend Pump Station and Force Main Replacement
State Route 65 between Brittany and Seminary roads is now open. Through November intermittent lane restrictions remain possible River Road between Brittany and Seminary for finish work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
The $2.5 million project will be complete in December.
District-Wide Valve Maintenance
Through December, crews will be in areas between U.S. Route 20 and State Route 795, and areas north of the Ohio Turnpike in Perrysburg Township for valve maintenance.
The work involves turning valves on waterlines, which can occasionally cause water to become discolored. Residents are advised to flush their taps if this occurs. Valve maintenance work will continue in various locations through December.
