Gilles Frankart recalls U.S. Marine Corps service as part of veterans history project

Gilles Frankart, a former officer for Rossford’s VFW post, is one of the latest veterans to contribute to the Way Public Library’s participation in the Library of Congress Veterans Project. The purpose is the preservation of veterans’ service memories.
Recently, the library recorded an interview with the Perrysburg resident, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1979 to 1982.
