March 14, or “Pi Day,” was celebrated at Rossford Junior High School with a pie-in-the-face activity.
Students who could recite the most digits in Pi, 3.14159265359 and so on, were able to shove a pie in the face of a teacher or administrator.
Seventh grader Donavan Prater listed 108 digits. He is shown above with teacher Jenna Bachmayer and Natalie Weaks.

Students had a fun day and practiced using Pi to find the area of different objects.
