Rossford Schools will host another vaccine clinic this month, provided by the Wood County Health Department.

The clinic is open to students and the public. It will be Thursday, December 30, from 3 to 6 p.m.

Pfizer vaccines will be available for those age 12 and older. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available for those 18 and older.

Students ages 5 to 11 who received their first dose of the vaccine December 9 can receive their second dose December 30.

A parent or guardian must attend the clinic if their child is under 18.

Walk-ins are welcome, but it is preferred that individuals use the sign up links on the website rossford schools.org.

Matt Thompson, communications specialist for the school district, said children ages 5 to 11 are the primary group for the vaccination clinic, but it is open to the public.

Individuals in the following categories also are welcome to schedule appointments:

•Pfizer boosters will be available for school district employees who should bring their vaccination cards.

•Boosters are available for those age 18 and older who qualify.

•First or second-shot Pfizer vaccines are available for ages 12 and older, and these individuals should bring their vaccination cards if receiving the second shot.

Mr. Thompson provided the following reminders for the day of the event.

Children should dress in layers with short sleeves/shorts underneath sweatshirts/sweatpants, etc. to make it easier to get the vaccine.

Parents should bring a form of identification.

No one should come if they or their children are sick or in isolation or quarantine.
