Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo will share in $1.5 million of grants to aid research on water quality of Lake Erie.

According to U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio, four grants were awarded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science and Integrated Ocean Observing System, totaling $1,542,686.
