As of presstime October 5, the following numbers were released by the Wood County Health Department:

•16,468 cases since March 2020–an increase of 475 in the past week. 240 cases (or 51 percent) were among patients age 29 and younger.

In the past two weeks, there were 587 active cases, including 161 in Perrysburg, 138 in Bowling Green, 58 in Northwood, 27 in Walbridge, and 27 in Rossford.
