As of presstime August 31, the following numbers were released by the Wood County Health Department:

•14,041 cases since March 2020–an increase of 277 in the past week. That is the largest weekly jump in cases since early April.

In the past two weeks, there were 339 active cases, including 101 in Perrysburg, 86 in Bowling Green, 23 in North Baltimore, 14 in Northwood and 6 in Rossford.
