The following is a list of school supplies for Rossford Elementary School for the 2021-22 school year.

Preschool

Backpack (easy access, without wheels, name and address written inside with permanent marker); 24 pack of large/wide tip crayons; one package of washable markers; set of eight-count washable watercolor paints; one pencil pouch or school box. Boys only: one roll of paper towels; one package of small white paper plates; one package gallon size Ziploc slider bags. Girls only: one box five-ounce Dixie cups; one package large white paper plates; one package quart size Ziploc slider bags; one package of napkins.

Kindergarten

Backpack (large, easy access, without wheels, with name and address written inside with permanent marker); oversized shirt for art class with child’s name; 12 No. 2 pencils, sharpened; 15 Elmer’s glue sticks; four boxes of 24 Crayola crayons; one clean sock for use as whiteboard eraser; four low odor dry erase markers; one pair of rounded-tip Fiskars scissors; one box of classic colored washable Crayola markers; one package of paper napkins; one large pink eraser; one widerule spiral notebook; one pump bottle of hand soap; one bottle of hand sanitizer; one plastic school box; sturdy headphones (no earbuds), label with child’s name; one composition book. Boys: one box of Ziploc slider sandwich bags (no stand and fill).

Girls: one box of Ziploc slider gallon bags (no stand and fill).

First Grade

Eight Elmer’s glue sticks; two bottles of Elmer’s washable school glue; regular over-the-ear headphones (no earbuds); four boxes of 24 count crayons (prefer Crayola); two large pink erasers (no pencil top erasers); one pair pointed tip Fiskars scissors; eight black, low odor, chisel-tip Expo dry erase markers; one plastic pencil box, approximately 8”x5” (no pencil pouch); 24 No. 2 pencils, sharpened; one set of eight washable watercolors; two boxes of tissues; one backpack/bookbag; one clean washcloth to use as a white board eraser; flashcards–addition and subtraction; one 10- count box of Crayola washable markers. Boys: one box of quart or sandwich size zipper storage bags; one pump bottle of hand sanitizer. Girls: one box of gallon size zipper storage bags; one pump bottle of hand soap.

Second Grade

Two boxes of 24 crayons; one box of colored pencils; 36 No. 2 pencils, sharpened (Ticonderoga suggested); eight black dry erase markers; two large pink erasers (no pencil top erasers); one pencil pouch or school box; 10 glue sticks; one bottle of Elmer’s school glue; one pair pointed Fiskars scissors; one spiral notebook; 12 fine point, black Expo low odor dry erase markers; headphones (no earbuds) for computer use; one backpack/bookbag; one box of tissues. Boys: one box of sandwich bags. Girls: one box of gallon bags.

Third Grade

One pair pointed-tip Fiskars scissors; 24 No. 2 sharpened yellow wooden pencils with erasers; one large pink eraser; four two-pocket folders, plain front (red, blue, yellow, green); three glue sticks; two boxes of 24-count crayons; one box of tissues; three spiral notebooks, wide rule with a plain front (red, blue, yellow); eight black dry erase markers; one soft pencil pouch; one set of earbuds or headphones; one pump bottle of hand sanitizer. Boys: one box of quart size zipper storage bags. Girls: one box of gallon size zipper storage bags.

Fourth Grade

Please label all supplies with the student’s name in marker. 40 No. 2 pencils, sharpened; one pair of pointed scissors; two sets of earbuds or headphones; 12 glue sticks; one box of colored pencils or markers; 12 black dry erase markers; two boxes of 24-count crayons; one pencil zipper pouch to hold loose supplies; two packs wide-lined looseleaf notebook paper; five single subject spiral notebooks, wide rule (red, blue, yellow, green and purple); one one-inch, three-ring binder; five two-pocket plastic folders without fasteners (red, green, blue, yellow and purple); two boxes of tissues; one eight-ounce or larger pump bottle of hand sanitizer.

Boys: one box of quart size zipper storage bags. Girls: one box of gallon size zipper storage bags.

Fifth Grade

Please label all supplies with the student’s name in marker. Earbuds or headphones for computer use (required); 24 No. 2 yellow wooden pencils, sharpened; two pink erasers (optional); four large glue sticks; one package of two to four highlighters; 12 black dry erase markers; one pair of scissors; one box thick or thin markers; one box colored pencils; two large boxes of tissues; one pump bottle of hand sanitizer; five two-pocket folders (red, blue, yellow, green–plastic preferred); five wide-lined single subject notebooks (red, blue, yellow, green); one vinyl or fabric pencil pouch (no boxes).

Boys: one box of Ziploc gallon bags. Girls: one box of Ziploc sandwich bags.

For physical education: Tennis shoes are required. No boots, sandals or platform type high soled shoes. Students are encouraged to keep a pair of tennis shoes at school for physical education; but this is not a requirement.
