Some locations in Ohio are seeing less demand for the COVID-19 vaccine, and in response, Governor Mike DeWine is opening the eligibility to those 16 and older.

He announced this week that local health departments and hospitals having a hard time filling appointments may book vaccines for anyone 16 and older.

Currently, anyone age 40 or older is eligible to receive the vaccine.
