The Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities is recognizing Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.

The board is promoting a community campaign called “I Am,” to empower individuals to recognize their strengths and to help the community see beyond a person’s disability. WCBDD has had billboards placed around Wood County as well as posters displayed in businesses throughout the county.
