Two new members of the Rossford Police Department were sworn in for duty at the February 8 meeting of Rossford City Council.

Mayor Neil MacKinnon III gave the oath of office to Derek Fillmore, center left, and Keon Domanski, center right.

“We are lucky to have these two quality individuals who are going to join our team and protect and serve our community,” the mayor said.

Officer Fillmore is a graduate of Oak Harbor High School and the Owens Community College police academy.

Officer Domanski is a Fremont Ross High School graduate and completed the police academy at Terra Community College. He previously served as an officer with the Oak Harbor Police Department and Mercy Health.

With the new full-time officers, from left are Sergeant Pat Kwiatkowski, Chief Todd Kitzler, Mayor MacKinnon and Officer Brandon Lewis.

Chief Kitzler said the two men will undergo field training until early May.
