City councilman pleads not gulty to OVI charges

Rossford Councilman Christopher Heban, 40, is facing three misdemeanor charges, stemming from a traffic stop on March 17. According to Perrysburg Municipal Court records, the councilman was charged with one count of operating a vehicle under the influence, and one count of hit and skip, both first degree misdemeanors; and failure to control, a minor misdemeanor.

Holy Toledo History Tours has released its latest self-guided GPS audio tour on the VoiceMap app. Entitled “Voices of Fallen Timbers,” the tour is available for download for a fee. It invites history enthusiasts to explore the site of the Fallen Timbers Battlefield Metropark.

Rossford band to hold spaghetti dinner April 6

Residents are invited to support the Rossford Band at its spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Saturday, April 6, at Rossford United Methodist Church, 270 Dixie Highway. The event will run from 4 to 8 p.m.

RBA to award four $500 scholarships

The Rossford Business Association will award four $500 scholarships again this year, to seniors who are either a resident of the City of Rossford or Perrysburg Township.
