Perrysburg Twp. food distribution scheduled for Thurs., October 9

The Perrysburg Township food distribution will be held Thursday, October 9, from 8 to 10 a.m. The township fire department will sponsor the food give-away at the township building, 26609 Lime City Road, the second Thursday of each month.

Blessing of the Animals at Nature’s Nursery on Oct. 4

Nature’s Nursery is known for taking care of sick, injured and orphaned local wildlife, but the organization is filled with animal lovers of all kinds. On Saturday, October 4, Nature’s Nursery welcomes all wellmannered animals to visit the property for a special Blessing of the Animals event.

The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo (DSAGT) will host the annual Toledo Buddy Walk on Sunday, October 5, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

LCM to hold fall festival on October 12

The Lutheran Church of the Master invites the community to join them for a fall festival on Sunday, October 12, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., at 28744 Simmons Road, Perrysburg. They will have fall themed activities throughout the afternoon for children, aged pre-kindergarten through fourth grade.
