In observance of New Year’s, the following offices and businesses will be closed on Thursday, January 1 unless noted otherwise.•City of Perrysburg offices•Rossford Public Library will close at 5 p.m. on December 31 and remain closed January 1.

Heroes recognized at twp. trustees meeting for using bystander CPR to rescue neighbor

During its regular meeting on December 17, the Perrysburg Township Board of Trustees and Fire Department, led by Fire Chief Tom Brice, recognized Sarai Shaneck, Justin Bytner and Samantha Bytner for heroism in coming to the emergency aid of Sarai’s mother, Susan Shaneck.

Starting in January, the Rossford Public Library will adjust their operating hours by eliminating Saturdays and adding an hour to Sundays—the new Sunday hours are 1 to 5 p.m.
