Ohio Senate bill addresses state’s mental health crisis

On June 28, the Ohio Senate passed Senate Bill 60, legislation sponsored by State Senator Theresa Gavarone, which will create a new occupation to address the mental health crisis in Ohio.SB 60 will establish a new licensed healthcare professional called a certified mental health assistant (CMHA).

About the Library this summer

It is gearing up to be an exciting and adventurous summer at Rossford Public Library. The Summer Reading Club continues through Friday, July 26.Children are encouraged to stop each week to report their reading, and upon reporting, they will receive a prize.

Mercy offers mobilemammograms in July

Mercy Health’s mobile mammography unit has visits scheduled throughout the region in July.The mobile mammography unit is customized for patient convenience and will deliver 3D mammograms to women age 40 and older.
