Brighten an animal’s life for the holidays

Looking to brighten an animal’s life this holiday season, but not ready for a lifetime commitment? Toledo Humane Society’s (THS) Home for the Holidays Foster Program is seeking foster homes to care for a shelter pet or two starting December 23.

Service to Remember set for December 3

Walker Funeral Homes, Good Grief of Northwest Ohio and Monarch Grief Center will host a Service to Remember on Tuesday, December 3, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Commodore School building, 140 East Indiana Avenue, Perrysburg. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m.

Sauder Village plans holiday events

Sauder Village will host holiday events, Merry and Bright Holiday Nights on November 30, December 7 and 14; and Making Spirits Bright, for ages 21 and older, on Friday, December 6, all from 6 to 9 p.m. The village is ready with lights and period-authentic decorations.
