Boating safety course offered at two locations

The Toledo Sail and Power Squadron will offer America’s Boating Course at two locations this year.The program will be offered March 1 and 8, at Maumee River Yacht Club, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. There will be a 30-minute lunch break.

Police Department to host Safety Town program June 23-27

The Rossford Police Department will present its Safety Town program June 23 through 27, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Rossford Elementary School, 28500 Lime City Road. Graduation is planned for June 27, at 11:30 a.m.The program is offered to all children enrolled in kindergarten.

Library hosts American Sign Language classes

This March, Rossford Public Library will host a free series of American Sign Language classes on Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m.The classes will be held on March 6, 13, 20 and 27.
