Rossford students honor graves of veterans

Rossford High School’s Serving Our Soldiers (SOS) club volunteered with Wreaths Across America on December 14, 2024. Students placed wreaths on the graves of veterans at Lake Township Cemetery. The VFW 9963 from Walbridge provided lunch afterward at the Lake Township Hall.

Cocoon offers dog run for survivors of domestic violence

The Cocoon’s new dog run makes it possible for individuals and their children to bring their dogs with them to a safe shelter when escaping domestic violence.The dog run is located on the Cocoon’s property and features a 60’x90’ fenced-in area with two spaces for dogs to be off leash while on site.

Perrysburg Christians United sponsors blood drive

Perrysburg Christians United will host a blood drive on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Zoar Lutheran Church. Donors must be at least 17 years old, at least 110 pounds and in general good health.Appointments can be scheduled online at redcrossblood.
