Toledo Sail and Power Squadron holds Change of Watch

The Toledo Sail and Power Squadron held its Change of Watch on January 11 at Angelo’s Northwood Villa. The 2025 bridge of officers was sworn in by D29 Commander, Robert Dubray.Members in attendance enjoyed a luncheon, along with the meeting and ceremony.

Northwestern Water and Sewer District projects

The Northwestern Water and Sewer District delivers water and sewer services to more than 20,000 customer accounts in Wood, Henry, Sandusky and Hancock counties. Although many of the projects are underground, the utility work can impact water and sewer service and roads throughout the area.

The Rossford Public Library would like to recognize Eleanor Browne for completing the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program!Eleanor will be starting kindergarten this fall and is a loyal library patron. She loves coming to the library and tries to attend almost every library children's program.

Area students receive honors at Central

Two Rossford residents were named to the honor roll for the second quarter at Central Catholic High School.Sophia Swanson received summa cum laude honors for achieving a grade point average of 3.9 or higher.

Neal named to SNHU dean’s list

Conner Neal, of Rossford, has been named to the fall 2024 dean’s list at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU).To be named to the dean’s list, undergraduates must be full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 to 3.699 for the reporting term.
