Rossford Eagles Ladies Auxiliary marks 85th year

The Rossford Eagles 2322 Ladies Auxiliary celebrated its 85th anniversary with a banquet and entertainment on February 22. Fraternal Order of Eagles state, district and zone dignitaries were in attendance. Rossford’s Mayor Neil MacKinnon III presented a proclamation.

Vietnam veterans invited to free dinner Sat., March 29

Northwood VFW #2984 will host a free dinner for area Vietnam veterans on Saturday, March 29, from 3 to 7 p.m.Free dinners are available to Vietnam veterans and guests may purchase meals for $10. Proof of eligibility is required.The event is in honor of Vietnam Veterans Day on March 29.

Toledo Sail and Power Squadron offers boating safety course

The Toledo Sail and Power Squadron will offer America’s Boating Course this year.The program will be offered April 5 and 12, at the Perrysburg Township Fire Department. The classes will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and registration starts at 8:15 a.m.
