Constituents of Ohio’s 5th Congressional District are taking to the streets—on two wheels—to demand answers from their elected representative.On Saturday, April 19, at noon, community members will gather at Arlyn’s Good Beer for a bike ride in celebration of Earth Day and in protest of U.S.

Vendor license application fee increase

With the passage of House Bill 366, the one-time fee for applying for a new vendor’s license will increase to $50. This change was effective April 9, as announced by the Ohio Department of Taxation.The $25 increase will support the Organized Crime Commission Fund.

RBA to award four $1,000 scholarships

The Rossford Business Association will award four $1,000 scholarships this year to 2025 graduates living in the Rossford School District.Applications can be picked up in the guidance counselor’s office at Rossford High School.The deadline for applications is April 25.

VFW to host band April 26

Northwood VFW #2984 will host the band J.T. Hayden on Saturday, April 26, from 7 to 11 p.m., at 102 West Andrus Road, Northwood.The organization also holds a Friday fish fry from 5 to 7:30 p.m. each Friday. Dinners are available for dine in or carryout.
