The Winter Crisis Program is available now through March 31 to provide utility assistance for electric and heating bills for Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca and Wood counties.

The Rossford Chess Team hosted the Greater Toledo Area High School Chess League Annual Beach Chess Tournament on Saturday, February 22.The junior high school team of Nathan Minor, Zeke Murtha, Boa Nam Dang and Carson Smothers came in first place in the K-8 Open.

Boating safety course offered at two locations

The Toledo Sail and Power Squadron will offer America’s Boating Course at two locations this year.The program will be offered March 1 and 8, at Maumee River Yacht Club, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. There will be a 30-minute lunch break.
