Mercy announces mobile mammogram schedule

Mercy Health’s mobile mammography unit has visits scheduled throughout the region in March.The mobile mammography unit is customized for patient convenience and will deliver 3D mammograms to women age 40 and older.

Wood County Republican Party hosts Lincoln Day Dinner

The 2025 Lincoln Day Dinner for the Wood County Republican Party will be held on Thursday, March 6, at Nazareth Hall, Grand Rapids, Ohio. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the ticket cost is $60. The keynote speaker will be Senator Rob McColley, Ohio Senate president.

Parkinson’s support group to meet March 6

The Wood County Committee on Aging offers a monthly Parkinson’s support group at the Wood County Senior Center, 140 South Grove Street, Bowling Green, from 5:45 to 7 p.m.The group typically meets the first Thursday of each month with some exceptions in the summer months.

Youth4Ethics Forum set for March 12

Better Business Bureau Ethics Foundation is presenting the Youth4Ethics Forum in Maumee, on Wednesday, March 12, at the Pinnacle. Doors open for students at 8:30 a.m. for check-in. Youth4Ethics begins at 9 a.m. and concludes by 1 p.m.

Spring Arts Festival scheduled for March 8

Spring is arriving early at HeART Gallery with the Spring Arts Festival on Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.This marks the third year for the event that celebrates artwork by members of Athena Arts Society, Ohio’s oldest art organization for women.
