Nature’s Nursery to hold Founders Day open house and ribbon cutting

June of 1989 was the first full month of operations for Nature’s Nursery Wildlife Rescue. What started as a small-hobby operation 36 years ago on a residential property, has grown into a multifaceted organization that now serves more than 18 counties and cares for 3,500 animals or more every year.

St. Joseph’s to hold summer rummage sale, June 11 to 14

Maumee St. Joseph’s Catholic Church is having its annual summer rummage sale. The dates are Wednesday, June 11, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 10 percent markup; Thursday and Friday, June 12 and 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to noon.
