First Presbyterian Church of Maumee is offering a GriefShare support group for community members who have experienced the death of someone close. The program meets on Tuesdays at the church, 200 East Broadway Street, Maumee.

Two Wood County law enforcement agencies are among 39 agencies statewide to meet state standards established by the Ohio Collaborative Community-Police Advisory Board. They are the Wood County sheriff’s office and the Wood County Park District.

The following cases were finalized in Perrysburg Municipal Court March 1 to 7, 2024. An additional $88 in court costs was sentencedfor each case, unless otherwise noted.

The Rossford Business Association will award four $500 scholarships again this year, to seniors who are either a resident of the City of Rossford or Perrysburg Township. Applications can be picked up in the guidance counselor’s office at Rossford High School or at Inside Out Self Storage office, 194 Dixie Highway, Rossford.

The following programs will be offered through the Wood County Park District. Registration is required for all programs 48 hours in advance.

Habitat for Humanity of Wood County will hold a volunteer orientation on Thursday, March 21, at 3 p.m., at its office, 326 Industrial Parkway, Suite 1, Bowling Green. The short, informational meeting highlights the volunteer opportunities available for the build season which begins March 28.
