GriefShare support group to meet at FPC Maumee

First Presbyterian Church of Maumee is offering a GriefShare support group for community members who have experienced the death of someone close. The program meets on Tuesdays at the church, 200 East Broadway Street, Maumee.

Taylor Hyundai awards scholarship

Last month, Taylor Hyundai Perrysburg hosted the fourth annual Guerrero Memorial scholarship awards. The event celebrates the accomplishments of local students, while awarding $10,000 in scholarships to those students.

RBA to award four $500 scholarships

The Rossford Business Association will award four $500 scholarships again this year, to seniors who are either a resident of the City of Rossford or Perrysburg Township. Applications can be picked up in the guidance counselor’s office at Rossford High School or at Inside Out Self Storage office, 194 Dixie Highway, Rossford.

Habitat for Humanity to host volunteer orientation

Habitat for Humanity of Wood County will hold a volunteer orientation on Thursday, March 21, at 3 p.m., at its office, 326 Industrial Parkway, Suite 1, Bowling Green. The short, informational meeting highlights the volunteer opportunities available for the build season which begins March 28.

About the Library in March

This March, the Rossford Public Library will be out of this world. To commemorate the upcoming total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, the library will be celebrating Space Week from March 25 to 29. The library will host a variety of space-themed programs with something for every age.
