WCCOA to host Cars and Cookies event May 2

Wood County Committee on Aging will host the Cars and Cookies Show, in the parking lot of the Wood County Senior Center, 140 South Grove Street, Bowling Green, on Friday, May 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. Rain date is Friday, May 9, from 4 to 6 p.m.

RBA to award four $1,000 scholarships

The Rossford Business Association will award four $1,000 scholarships this year to 2025 graduates living in the Rossford School District.Applications can be picked up in the guidance counselor’s office at Rossford High School.The deadline for applications is April 25.

VFW to host band April 26

Northwood VFW #2984 will host the band J.T. Hayden on Saturday, April 26, from 7 to 11 p.m., at 102 West Andrus Road, Northwood.The organization also holds a Friday fish fry from 5 to 7:30 p.m. each Friday. Dinners are available for dine in or carryout.

Toledo Air Show returns on May 10-11

The Toledo Air Show will return to the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport, on Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11.This year’s show is bringing world-class performers and an array of military and civilian static displays.Headlining this year’s show are the elite U.S.
