Rossford Schools celebrate students at Fine Arts Night

Rossford Schools hosted their Fine Arts Night on April 30, at both the elementary school and the junior- senior high school.Art teachers displayed art throughout the buildings for families to walk through and see. Students showed off their pieces to families.

Beautification committee seeks volunteers

The Rossford beautification committee is looking for volunteers. No experience is needed and supplies are provided.The next meeting is Sunday, June 1, 11 a.m., at the Rossford Recreation Center. Contact Cherie at 419-3866426 if interested.

Rossford Memorial Day event to honor fallen veterans

Rossford’s annual Memorial Day event will be Sunday, May 25. The parade will commence at 1:30 p.m., starting at the corner of Dixie Highway and Bergin Street. A presentation will immediately follow at Veterans Memorial Park, near the marina, on Hannum Avenue.

William (Bill) Michael Heban, age 70, of Rossford, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born on February 13, 1955, to Robert and Lucille (Proch) Heban in Oregon, Ohio. Bill was a 1973 graduate of Rossford High School and was a talented basketball player and golfer.
