A stroke can change a life in an instant. In the minutes after symptoms begin, quick action can help protect the brain, reduce long-term disability and save a life, according to the American Stroke Association, a division of the American Heart Association.

Wood County Auditor’s office awarded GFOA certificate of achievement

Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Wood County for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024.
