The Wood County Museum and Historical Society recently elected new board members, Roger Grant and Todd Waggoner.

Mr. Grant is a retired educational administrator who has worked at a number of universities, including the University of Washington and Bowling Green State University. Mr. Waggoner is a retired professor and associate dean from BGSU.

David Hollinger and Brenda Ransom were reappointed to the historical society board.

The 2023 board of directors includes Lois Bowlus, Michael Ginnetti, Sandy Gill, Scott Gross, Becky Mancuso and Erika Miklovic; commissioner appointees, Gordon Bowman, Julie Baumgardner and David Steiner, and Frank Butwin and Corinne Gordon, appointed by the park district.

The historical society has 15 members. Three appointed by the county commissioners and two appointed by the park district; 10 are elected annually by the membership.
