On March 5, Wood County Commissioner and board president Doris Herringshaw was administered a followup COVID-19 vaccination.

At press time, eligibility for the vaccines has expanded to include people who are 50 or older, are pregnant, have certain medical conditions, or work in occupations such as child care, funeral services and law enforcement.
