Welch Publishing Co. lost a former employee recently, who was a good friend to many in the Rossford community.

Tim Brown, 63, worked for 17 years in the newspaper’s plant on Osborn Street.

While a student at Rossford High School, he was part of the prestigious basketball team that played in the state semi-finals in Columbus.
