Area residents are invited to “be part of a live audience” for a program Wednesday, November 10, at Rossford Public Library, showcasing the greatest sitcoms in TV history.

Marty Gitlin will give a presentation based on his book “The Greatest Sitcoms of All Time.”

He ranks the top television shows of the last 50 years with funny video clips, episode trivia and quizzing participants to “name that theme song.”

His talk focuses on the changes to American television as it has evolved over the decades.

Mr. Gitlin is a freelance writer and the author of more than 40 books on popular culture and sports.

The program begins at 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Copies of his book will be available for signing and purchase after what promises to be a very entertaining program.
