As of last weekend, TARTA riders are able to take public transportation on Sundays and holidays, with the schedule for both running from 6:25 a.m. to 8:21 p.m.
“When they had the successful ballot initiative in November, we promised the community that Sunday and holiday service would be returned,” TARTA CEO Laura Koprowski said. “It was critical to us to do that as soon as possible.
“The dedication of so many TARTA team members made this possible. Without the dedication of our drivers, maintenance, customer service operators, administrative team members and so many others, we wouldn’t have been able to do this for our customers.”
