Two Rossford residents were indicted by a Wood County grand jury on May 18. They are Lawrence E. James Jr., 49, and Chimere Isaac, 40, both of Bacon Street.
Mr. James faces two counts of illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits or WIC program and one count of trafficking in cocaine, all fifth-degree felonies, and three counts of having weapons while under disability, felonies of the third degree.
Mr. Isaac was indicted on two counts of illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits or WIC program and one count of trafficking in cocaine, fifth-degree felonies.
The charges against the men stem from incidents that occurred March 24.
If convicted, Mr. James faces up to eight years in prison and fines of $17,500. Mr. Isaac could be sentenced to three years in prison and fines of $7,500.
Their cases have been assigned to Common Pleas Judge Molly Mack.
